Marina Barzon is currently a PhD candidate in Theory, Criticism and History of Art in the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo, Brazil. From 2018 to 2021 she was curatorial assistant of Visual Arts at the Moreira Salles Institute at São Paulo. She received her master in Aesthetics and Art History from the University of São Paulo, with a thesis on the Gruppo degli Otto and its presence at the former Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo’s collection. She completed her B.A and teaching license in History at the same university. Marina is a pre-doctoral fellow at the Bibliotheca Hertziana and has a research scholarship provided by FAPESP.
